What we are looking for: The Accounting/Credit Support Representative contributes to the company’s overall success by supporting the Accounting and AR/credit departments by performing a variety of administrative, operational, and compliance-related tasks. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance processes, assisting with vendor and client account setup, and ensuring the timely processing of credit-related documentation. Account Manager contributes to the company’s overall success by overseeing and maintaining precise records of incoming payments and outstanding debts owed to the company. They are responsible for ensuring the prompt collection of payments from clients and, when necessary, implementing procedures for delinquent accounts in accordance with established practices and procedures to uphold the company's financial stability. The position is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities.


Schedule: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Hybrid

Pay: $22-24 per hour


As an Accounting/Credit Support Representative, You will: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Credit & Legal Support:

  • Assist with the preparation and mailing of demand letters.
  • Prepare lien filings, including obtaining signatures from authorized personnel.
  • File and scan liens and lien releases to CRM.
  • Ensure lien releases are completed within 7–10 days of payment.

Vendor & Internal Support:

  • Support vendor setup and IC setup processes.
  • Maintain vendor packets and documentation.
  • Respond to operational requests from vendors.
  • Maintain ongoing compliance documentation for independent contractors (IC’s)
  • Coordinate Certificate of Insurance (COI) tracking and updates.
  • Perform regular post-office runs as needed.

Reporting:

  • Generate and maintain Excel-based reports for the Accounting and Credit teams.
  • Take over recurring weekly reports (e.g., AION & AVALON reports) as delegated.
  • Support automation of recurring monthly reports where possible.

Client & Account Maintenance:

  • Support the credit team during extended PTO or absences, ensuring, continuity of daily operations.
  • Assist with batch record updates in CL when PDF invoicing changes occur.
  • Review the legal listing report and ALN report weekly and make updates in CRM
  • Assist credit when needed with various tasks including large lists of Rep changes in CRM, setting up clients for PDF invoicing/statements, process account activation forms, and make changes to client account, etc.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting support, credit operations, or administrative coordination.
  • Immediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including experience with formulas, data sorting and filtering, and pivot tables.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in written and verbal communication, able to effectively engage with diverse teams.
  • Strong Reasoning and Problem-Solving Ability: Proficient in fully analyzing situations to arrive at accurate, logical resolutions. Can carry out instructions furnished in various formats and address challenges involving multiple concrete variables.
  • Strong Mathematical Skills: Competent in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for calculating interest, payments, balances, and financial ratios accurately.
  • Strong Understanding of Credit Principles: Well-versed in credit principles, financial analysis, and accounting practices and compliance documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail: capable of effectively managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Standard Business Terminology: Knowledgeable in standard business terminology to facilitate effective communication.
  • Adaptable and Flexible: Able to adapt to changing circumstances and flexible in approach to work.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office: with immediate proficiency in Microsoft excel, with the ability to quickly learn new/internal software and navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously.
  • Excellent Driving Skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulation: Able to Safely Operate Company Vehicle:
