Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Skilled in case management for students with mild to severe diagnoses
- Comfortable working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to navigate a dynamic environment while adapting to evolving student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Maintain diligent records and handle case management tasks with efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s success
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student confidence and communication development
