Make a difference supporting students as a Behavior Support Provider in a dynamic school environment near Putney, VT. We’re seeking experienced and compassionate professionals—including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Paraprofessionals, Behavior Specialists, and ABA providers—to work with K-12 students across four buildings for the upcoming academic year.
This is a contract role from August 26, 2026, to June 14, 2027, for a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week. You’ll join during an exciting period as the behavior support program is being revitalized, with opportunities to participate in new pilot projects under a new district BCBA supervisor. Those who prefer outside BCBA supervision for RBTs will find this option supported.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a school-based setting as a paraprofessional, behavior specialist, RBT, or providing ABA services
- Familiarity with positive behavior interventions and applied behavior analysis strategies
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and BCBA for student success
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a passion for working with diverse learners
- Flexibility and adaptability during program development and pilot projects
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral support and interventions to K-12 students
- Implement individualized behavior plans in accordance with BCBA guidance
- Document student progress and communicate updates to the educator team
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
