Job Description / Desired Qualifications:
· Can be full time or part time.
· Financial Analyst is primary responsibility but this role will also have some Project Management support responsibilities.
· The first few weeks would require bout 50/50 onsite work and after that would be primarily remote (4 days remote with 1 day in office).
· 5-10 Years Provides analytical support in order to deliver financial results.
· Works with internal employees and external vendors to resolve issues and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
· Prepares cost reports, including forecasts and outlooks, assists with the allocation of funds for projects based on approved budgets, and monitors project accounting.
· They validate invoices, expenditures, and change requests impacting budgets.
· Identify and implement improvements to cost management processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
· Financial analysts support project budgeting and forecasting metrics, reporting, and TE analysis.
· Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data and recommending actions.
· Determines the cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data.
· Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
· Guides the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
· Providing trends and forecasts explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions.
· Improves financial status by analyzing results monitoring variances identifying trends recommending actions to management.
· Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
· Maintains databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
· Recommends actions based on data analysis and interpretation, as well as comparative analyses.
· Studying proposed changes in methods and materials increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications.
· Coordinating information requirements protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
· Attend educational workshops to keep technical knowledge up to date.
· Reviewing publications contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
· Corporate finance, quality management, problem solving, process improvement, statistical analysis financial skills.
· Educate business partners to understand and apply information security concepts, processes, and technologies.
