Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Spanish preferred) School Psychologist to join our team. This is a non-traditional role that focuses primarily on direct and collaborative services, with minimal evaluating/testing responsibilities. The successful candidate will oversee caseloads for one secondary school and one PreK-5 school, working closely with staff, teachers, and parents to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct oversight and support for students alongside typical school psychologists.
- Consult with staff, teachers, and parents to formulate cohesive plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educational teams to create supportive environments and effective interventions for students.
- Conduct minimal evaluations/testing as needed, including IQ testing for eligibility and administering rating scales.
- Engage with a predominantly EL population, leveraging bilingual skills to communicate effectively with students and families.
- Maintain flexible in-person hours to accommodate the needs of students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly English Learners.
- Strong collaborative and consultation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Knowledge of IQ testing and rating scales for student eligibility when necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
