Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, answering any questions they may have regarding menu items.
- Assist in training new staff members on sandwich preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory.
- Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or grocery store is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient sandwich preparation during busy periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus, helping in inventory management tasks.
