Job DescriptionLive Purposely is dedicated to helping individuals live purposeful and fulfilling lives through providing compassionate and high-quality mental health services. We are currently seeking a passionate Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI) to join our growing practice. The RCSWI role is designed for individuals working toward clinical licensure and provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to gather information about clients’ emotional, mental, and social histories.
  • Provide individual and/or therapy to clients, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors under the supervision of an LCSW.
  • Assist clients with developing treatment plans and connecting them with community resources or other services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of client progress, sessions, treatment plans in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirement.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions with LCSW to discuss case management, therapeutic approaches, and professional development.
  • Work closely with other healthcare providers, including medical staff, counselors, community organizations, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Continuously engage in learning opportunities, attend workshops, and stay updated on best practices in social work and mental health care.


Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree in Social Work from an accredited school, required.
  • Registered with the state of Florida Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI).
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain boundaries.
  • Knowledge of current social work practices, therapeutic techniques, and legal/ethical standards in mental health care.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to write clearly and informatively.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to speak clearly and effectively to clients.
  • Ability to respect diversity and incorporate cultural issues into cases.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule and provide in-person and virtual therapy services under supervision.

Employment Type: W2 Employee

Pay:
Starting: $33 per hour

Expected hours:
Between 10 and 20 hours per week
