Job DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Custom Woodworker at Re-View Historic Windows!Position Overview:At Re-View Historic Windows, we take pride in crafting custom wood windows and restoring historical wood & steel windows to their former glory. We're seeking a skilled Woodworker/Assembler to join our team and contribute to our large custom wood shop. This role encompasses both pre-CNC production activities and post-CNC assembly of wood components.Position Description:Pre-CNC Activities:
- Prepare lumber, measure, cut, glue, and stage materials.
- Utilize equipment such as a Chop Saw with Tigerstop, Planer/Jointer, Tape Measure, and Pallet Jack.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Post-CNC Activities:
- Assemble sashes/frames.
- Install glass stops, sand, caulk, and fill nail holes.
- Repair sash/frame components as needed.
- Build and load shipment crates.
- Load sashes/frames onto the paint line.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the work area.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
- Utilize equipment including Table Saw, Miter Saw, Wide Belt Sander, Orbital Sander, Block Sander, Nail Gun, Coping Saw, and other hand tools as required.
Standard Operating Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 5:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Friday: 5:30 am to 11:00 am (as assigned, overtime)
- Breaks: 3 – 10-minute paid breaks
- Lunch: 1 – 30-minute unpaid lunch
Travel Expectations:
- None
Experience:
- 1-5 years of woodworking/assembly experience
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in woodworking techniques.
- Experience with wood-cutting equipment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
