Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting, delivering patient-centered care tailored to diverse age groups. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with established unit standards. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement emergency patient care according to clinical standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in continuous education and skills development.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact nursing license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- TNCC, ATCN, CPI, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Experience in emergency nursing and age-specific care considerations.
- Ability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to infectious diseases and bloodborne pathogens.
- Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, and patient handling.
- Ability to manage stressful and fast-paced situations with professionalism.
- Cleaning and ventilated smoke-free setting.
This is a contract role with night shifts starting January 12, 2026. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate unexpected changes and emergencies.
