Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds :82
• Patient Ratios : 2-4
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretaries, Neo Techs, CNC’s, Discharge Coordinator, Lactation, and Child Life.
• Type of equipment : Giraffe Isolettes, Dreger Vents, GE Monitors, and Alaris Pumps
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Scheduling requirements: 3-12 hour shifts weekly with up to every other weekend.
• Floating policy: RN’s float to the Children’s Units and Women’s Units
• Patient Experience requirements: Level 3 experience preferred.

• Certifications: BCLS

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: Level 3 experience

Advanced skills needed: Basic Level 3 NICU experience

Procedures performed on unit: We are a delivery hospital and care for infants that are 23 weeks to term. We keep all critical infants except infants that require ECMO or cardiac surgery.

Certifications Required: AWHONN, NRP
