Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to provide therapeutic services in a K-12 school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is based in a location approximately one hour north of Wilmington, NC, near Camp Lejeune. The role involves working 39 hours per week, delivering specialized OT support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions to support students educational and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Adapt therapy plans based on student responses and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant state certification.
- Experience delivering therapy services in school, home health, or healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices for K-12 students.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
