Job Description

We are seeking a dependable General Labor / Bundler to support daily production and material handling. This role focuses on bundling sprinkler pipe, staging materials, and assisting with general warehouse and fabrication tasks. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, following instructions, and maintaining safe work habits throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Bundle, strap, and stage sprinkler pipe and related materials.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
  • Perform general labor tasks including sorting, stacking, and organizing inventory.
  • Use hand tools and basic equipment to support production and fabrication.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the shift.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and supervisor instructions.
  • Support additional warehouse or production tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in general labor, warehouse, or light industrial work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the full shift.
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and material-handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a metal fabrication shop.
  • Forklift operation skills.
  • Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and perform general production tasks.

Work Environment

This role operates in an active sprinkler fabrication and warehouse environment with moderate noise, material movement, and hands-on labor. The schedule is a steady 6:30am–2:30pm shift with opportunities for overtime based on production needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
