Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Fredericksburg, VA. This contract position spans the entire 2025-2026 school year and offers a valuable opportunity for both certified clinicians and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or currently in CFY
- Ability to provide speech and language assessments, treatments, and progress monitoring for students across K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and enhancing communication abilities
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech-language therapy services aligned with student needs and IEP goals
- Participating in team meetings and assisting with documentation and reporting requirements
- Following all guidelines and protocols for service delivery within the school environment
- Engaging with supervising clinicians who will provide guidance and professional support throughout the contract
