Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory care in a hospital setting located in Port Orchard, Washington. Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time Respiratory Therapist experience
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
- Credentialed as either a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies based on physician orders and patient conditions
- Monitor ventilator-dependent patients and adjust ventilator settings as needed
- Perform diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases and pulmonary function testing
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to establish and evaluate patient care plans
- Provide emergency respiratory support and interventions when needed
