Finish Line Staffing is currently seeking Journeyman Metal Frame Carpenters for a Commercial project in Afton, TX. Must have OSHA 10 and lift certification.
- Working 40-48hrs a week more OT offered
- Will be working 2+ Months
- $30/hr $150 per diem.
- Carpenters will be installing metal studs, framing walls, doors, ceilings
Key Responsibilities:
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and follow complex construction plans and drawings.
- Layout & Marking: Mark stud locations, window/door openings, and junction points accurately.
- Cutting & Assembly: Cut metal studs and tracks, assembling them into frameworks using various fasteners (screws, connectors).
- Installation: Erect wall, ceiling, and partition frames, ensuring they are level and plumb.
- Coordination: Work with electricians, plumbers, and other trades to create openings for utilities.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA, federal, and local safety regulations, using PPE and maintaining tools.
