Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Hammett, Idaho. This contract position spans the entire school year, with two full-time onsite roles available.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12 levels
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to monitor student progress
- Providing direct therapy services to students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA
- Experience working with school-aged children spanning K-12 grades
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a full caseload while maintaining detailed and timely documentation
