Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available supporting PreK-8 students in a virtual setting with in-person assessments. This contract role requires expertise in elementary education and experience working with students who have Autism, are nonverbal, or exhibit severe behaviors. The position involves delivering both push-in and push-out services across 1-2 school sites.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license with CCC certification (no waivers accepted)
- Experience with elementary school-aged children, PreK through 8th grade
- Skilled in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Familiarity with working with students diagnosed with Autism, nonverbal communication, and severe behavioral challenges
- Proficient in documentation and billing through SEIS
- Ability to provide both virtual therapy and in-person assessments (no VOCO use)
- Comfortable handling services across multiple school sites
Location:
- Remote work with in-person assessments located near Anaheim, CA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services aligned with individual education plans for elementary students
- Provide push-in services within classrooms as well as push-out individualized therapy
- Conduct thorough in-person assessments to determine student needs and progress
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize student communication outcomes
- Utilize SEIS for effective billing and reporting
