I’m partnering with a leading distribution organization to hire a Customer Service / Field Service Manager who will act as the primary link between customers and the distribution center—strengthening relationships, improving operations, and leading a customer service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with customer and regional leadership.
- Conduct customer visits and delivery observations to monitor service quality.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and community events.
- Support ordering processes, delivery operations, and product/equipment rollouts.
- Evaluate delivery procedures, storage layouts, and equipment needs.
- Provide or coordinate training on ordering, inventory, and operational systems.
- Support new location openings and customer onboarding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in Field Service or customer‐facing operations.
- Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, and related systems.
