Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00

Pay Info: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available

Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents in long-term care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
  • Understanding and addressing the physical and psychological needs of residents as outlined in their care plans.
  • Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Supporting residents in mobility, including transferring and repositioning using proper techniques.
  • Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
  • Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
  • Participating in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required, or must be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months.
  • Completion of yearly competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually).
  • For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license if classified as a Sanford Category II Driver.
