Billing Administrator
Location: Hybrid | Washington, DC (preferred) | Fully remote eligible
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Operations Manager


Position Summary

This role is central to maintaining accurate, consistent, and reliable billing operations across the firm. You will ensure invoices are processed correctly, payments are tracked, and billing data is clean and usable for reporting and decision-making.

You’ll work closely with attorneys and operations to support billing workflows while helping improve structure, clarity, and efficiency in how we manage billing and collections.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and working with data to support a high-performing team.

You will support core billing and reporting functions, including:

Billing & Invoicing
Accounts Receivable (Collections Tracking & Follow-Up)
Billing Data Management & System Accuracy
Reporting & Reconciliation Support
Trust Accounting & Expense Tracking Support

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar administrative roles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfort working with numbers, data, and reports
• Solid Excel skills (formulas, basic reporting)
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems
• Experience with legal billing software (Filevine or similar preferred)
• Strong communication skills and consistent follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
