Our organization is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to become a part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This role is essential in providing exceptional rehabilitative care to our senior residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, functionality, and independence for residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans, which may include therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility activities, and the safe operation of adaptive and assistive devices.
- Collaborate as a crucial member of an interdisciplinary care team, working closely with physical therapists, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated, patient-centered approach.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress within our electronic health record systems.
- Communicate significant clinical observations to the supervising therapist to aid in ongoing care planning.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies to support continued improvement and quality of life beyond therapy sessions.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements consistently.
- Manage a diverse daily caseload while fostering a warm, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere.

Working Conditions
