Position Summary:
Serves as the district office’s receptionist and is often the first point of contact for new and returning families. Oversees the on-line student registration process and assists families as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
• Serve as the main receptionist for the district office
• Oversee the enrollment process for new and returning students, verify residency, and ensure all required information is submitted
• Enter and maintain student data in the Student Information System (Skyward)
• Administer the open enrollment & tuition waiver process, including management of OPAL
• Assist with completing the required student counts (September & January)
• Process free & reduced meal applications and run direct certification reports
• Serve as the administrative assistant to the Director of Teaching and Learning

• Comfortable working with technology, leveraging skills to increase efficiencies
• Maintaining a courteous and positive attitude while working with all personalities in a diverse setting

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues that supports a cooperative work environment
Other Job Functions:
• Become an expert in using Skyward to fulfill all job responsibilities
• Generate enrollment reports or other state/federal reports as required
• Request records from other schools as needed
• Collaborate with other district staff members to send out pre-registration information
• Understand federal/community programs that families may qualify for
• Investigate situations involving family moves within the school district
• Compile end-of-the-year student demographic data
• Work with auditors when membership or other audits are conducted
• Assist elementary school staff with 4K registration
• Collaborate with other administrative assistants across the district to complete projects
• Attend professional training annually to enhance work skills and knowledge
• Use technology to advance best practices in this role and for the district office
• Perform other related duties as assigned
