Elstonville Sportsmen's Association is an exclusive members-only club dedicated to providing a high-quality dining experience. Our menu is intentionally condensed to focus on excellence, with a weekly special that shows creativity and seasonal ingredients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook who takes pride in preparing exceptional dishes with consistency and attention to detail. You will be responsible for creating and executing a condensed menu and creating a rotating weekly special that delights our members.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook menu items to exacting standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
· Monitor inventory and minimize food waste.
· Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
· Assist with special events or private member functions as needed.
Expected to assist in dishwashing and other support duties as part of a collaborative kitchen team environment.
Qualifications:
· Previous line cook experience, preferably in a private club or upscale restaurant.
· Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
· Ability to work efficiently in a small, focused kitchen environment.
· Creativity and skill in executing weekly specials using seasonal ingredients.
· Attention to detail, consistency, and quality.
· Team player with strong communication skills.
· Flexibility to work on a planned schedule, and special events.
· Culinary degree or formal training is a plus.
