Job Description
The Opportunity: Build Your Legacy from the Ground Up
How often do you get to take the keys to a facility and completely define its culture, team, and operational success?
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, floor-oriented Plant Manager to lead the high-profile restart and ramp-up of a beverage production facility. You will have full site-level P&L accountability and the autonomy to build your team from scratch, commission equipment, and establish world-class manufacturing rhythms.
If you are a builder who thrives on the floor, loves the complexity of liquid manufacturing, and knows how to navigate a collaborative, matrixed corporate structure—this is your next definitive career move.
What You’ll Do:
- The Launch: Drive the restart of an idle beverage plant, partnering with consultants and corporate teams to oversee equipment commissioning and process stabilization.
- The Team: Hire, develop, and inspire your own leadership team and hourly workforce across Blending, Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse operations.
- The Business: Own the site-level P&L. You’ll manage the operating budget, drive down conversion costs, and optimize KPIs (uptime, scrap, yields).
- The Network: Serve as the critical bridge between site execution and corporate leadership (Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR).
What You Bring:
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in food or beverage manufacturing (juice, liquid food, or beverage processing is strongly preferred).
- The Catalyst Factor: Proven experience navigating an operational startup, plant restart, or major turnaround.
- The Mindset: A hands-on, floor-oriented leadership style. You manage by walking around, not just looking at spreadsheets.
- The Toolkit: Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers, matrixed corporate environments, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or Operations (or equivalent battle-tested experience).
