Warehouse Associate Job Summary
NY Cosmetics in Tinton Falls, NJ is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and inventory handling. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-focused, and experienced in fast-paced warehouse environments. Forklift certification is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on pick lists or handheld scanners
- Pack orders securely and efficiently according to company standards
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Safely load and unload products from trucks or storage areas
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
- Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience is an advantage
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer or scanner experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs. repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (temperature variations, noise, etc.)
Certifications (Preferred)
- Valid Forklift Certification (Counterbalance / Reach Truck / Pallet Stacker, as applicable)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not currently certified
Work Schedule
- Full-time / Part-time (as applicable)
- Overtime and weekend availability may be required
