Job DescriptionSalary: $55-70/ hr
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. Develop, recommend and implement the nursing departments goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and budget.
2. Interprets hospital policies as established by the Governing Board and Chief Executive Officer, and cooperates and assists in formulating policies.
3. Recruit, interview, and hire, as well as evaluating, and terminating nursing employees.
4. Assure QAPI is current and ongoing and that the follow-up recommendations are implemented.
5. Annual evaluation of nursing employees and review all nursing evaluations.
6. Attend all meetings to keep self and others informed on change.
7. Demonstrates leadership, the ability to apply sound principles of administration and supervision, and good interpersonal relationship.
8. Makes independent decisions, has advanced knowledge of nursing procedures and principles, and is skilled in techniques of procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of a state approved RN program. Must be currently licensed in the State of North Carolina as an RN. Seven (7) years of nursing experience required and five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred. Should have good physical and mental health, retain emotional stability in situations of varying circumstances and exhibit flexibility for various duties. Must have a current healthcare provider CPR certification.
