Shop Manager/Mechanic supervisor

Job DescriptionSalary: $65,000 - $70,000

Shop Manager is responsible for providing daily leadership to team members, maintaining current shop procedure and scheduling. This position works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial, quality, support and that all compliances are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary Focus is to track, rebuild, and maintain Units.
• Establish and supervise the motor and running tool rebuild process.
• Manage all shop hands assisting in motor and equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Regulate shop inventory and motor / running tool supplies.
  
• Participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Maintain all HSE protocols and ensure that all responsibilities are up to date.
• Maintain purchase orders.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ Years Shop experience in the transportation industry.

• Ability to lead others.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of all aspects of motors.
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic computer/laptop skills
• Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must have current, valid drivers license and acceptable record at all times.
• Bilingual is a plus. (Spanish & English)
