Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support students from PreK through 12th grade. This role offers 25-30 hours per week and will be located in Camp Lejeune, NC. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 5th, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across PreK-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to address behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to promote student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Assist with crisis intervention and support positive school climate initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with a diverse student population from PreK-12.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work 25-30 hours per week with availability to begin immediately.
