Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Physical Therapist Aide to join our Bridgewater team. The aide will support licensed physical therapists by assisting with patient care, preparing treatment areas, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a welcoming and efficient clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in rehabilitation, exercise science, or healthcare careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists during patient treatment sessions, including setup and monitoring of therapeutic exercises.
- Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment before and after use.
- Support patients with mobility and positioning under the supervision of licensed staff.
- Monitor and document patient responses to therapy as directed.
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, charting, and patient check-in as needed.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and safety at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or fitness setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Interest in physical therapy, exercise science, or healthcare field strongly encouraged.
Schedule:
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility may be required as the clinic grows.
