Job Title: Press Assistant
Job Description
The position of Press Assistant involves general labor responsibilities within a production and warehouse environment. The role requires assisting machine operators, moving pallets using a forklift, stacking boxes, and helping wherever needed in the production area. A reliable individual with a positive attitude and punctuality is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Machine Operator with tasks related to operating large Slitter Machines.
- Load and unload rolls of material on and off machines.
- Operate a forklift to move pallets and materials efficiently.
- Verify the Machine Operator's measurements and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in machine changeovers and maintain a clean work area.
- Perform packaging and other duties as directed.
- Receive training on various warehouse duties.
Essential Skills
- Forklift experience
- Experience in machine operation and production
- Ability to use tape measures and read measurements
- General labor skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 6 months of machine operating or manufacturing experience
- At least 6 months of forklift experience
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and using measurements

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
