A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in the Jacksonville area is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to provide leadership and support in day-to-day pharmacy operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist ready to step into an Interim PIC role and contribute to high-quality patient care in a specialized hospital setting.
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Interim Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and Director of Pharmacy (DOP) duties
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Collaborate directly with nurses and physicians to provide consultation and optimize pharmacological care
- Maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy policies and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Florida pharmacist license
- Hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred
- Willingness to take on PIC responsibilities and lead pharmacy operations in a rehab hospital environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
