Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL
Salary: $75K-$100K (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
The Commercial Roofing Field Supervisor will oversee all aspects of roofing projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing crews, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate roofing projects from start to finish.
- Manage on-site crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are available and in good condition for the job.
- Train and mentor crew members on safety practices and roofing techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial roofing, with a focus on field supervision.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and metal roofing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with roofing project management software like Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the roofing industry.
