Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position in Norridgewock, ME offers an opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher for students in grades K-12, including self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms. The assignment runs from January 2026 through June 2026, with a workweek of 30 to 37.5 hours spread across five days.

Candidates must hold an active state teaching license and bring a passion for educating diverse learners with special needs. The caseload can vary, providing experience across multiple grade levels from K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This role involves planning, delivering, and adapting individualized instruction to support student growth and meet IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:
