Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and debug CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Perform complex dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using CMMs.
- Analyze CMM data, generate detailed inspection reports, and identify non-conformances.
- Design and create appropriate fixturing for parts to be inspected on the CMM.
- Validate and optimize CMM programs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement challenges and improve product quality.
- Perform routine calibration checks and minor maintenance on CMM equipment.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models.
- Solid knowledge of metrology principles and measurement best practices.
- Experience with CAD software for model import, feature creation, and path planning.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot measurement issues and optimize CMM programs for efficiency.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple CMM software platforms (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model-based programming and fixture design.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and software applications.
- Certifications in advanced GD&T (e.g., ASME Y14.5 Senior Level).
