MeatCrafters, Inc. is a sausage and charcuterie manufacturer with retail, online, wholesale and distributors accounts. We are seeking a, FSQA supervisor to join our company, where we provide our customers with delicious and safe sausages, bacon, salamis and charcuterie.

QA Manager Summary

Hours: Monday-Friday 6 am- 3 pm

The FSQA Manager will lead and train the Management and production teams in providing maximum quality control standards. Duties will include monitoring employees, coordinating workflows with Production Manager, analyzing the efficiency of the manufacturing process, perform all product testing, implement all record keeping ensuring all product is safe, and the product integrity is maintained to meet safety standards. The FSQA Manger must have HACCP Certification .

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Work with Production Managers, and Management Team to monitor and document the food safety and food quality of all raw and finished products.
  • Report any deviation from quality of service that may become a potential liability to Operations Manager and onsite USDA officer
  • Maintain all time and production records as required by MeatCrafters
  • Ensure all products are processed to MeatCrafters approved HACCP and SOP plans.
  • Informs Production Manager, onsite USDA officer and Operations Manager of any food safety issues or violations immediately
  • With Production Manager and Operations Manager Implements and manages any food safety corrective actions
  • Prioritizes and meets all production, management team and USDA reporting deadlines
  • Implements with Management Team any changes to the food safety system of the facility; including creating, reviewing, authenticating, and maintaining food safety system documents, including standard operating procedures and programs that require maintaining document registers and documentation.
  • Provides daily monitoring of Production Team to ensure compliance to MeatCrafters food safety system of the facility
  • Responsibility with Production Manager in inspecting raw materials coming in; investigates non-conformance and complaints about any inbound or outbound products.
  • Provides leadership for the facility team in performing self-audits and provide all coaching and training necessary.
  • Responsible for hosting visitors to the facility with the Operations Manager, including all regulatory agency representatives and customer representatives.
  • Has working knowledge of all current USDA regulations and GMPs.
