A K-12 educational institution in Madison, NE, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a contract position within the uping school year. This role is vital in supporting students' academic, emotional, and social development by providing psychological services that enhance learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments for students to evaluate learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and social-emotional challenges.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert remendations to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in pliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Effective munication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
