Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support to students in grades K-12 within a contract duration covering the plete school year. This role is based in Williamsburg, VA, and focuses on delivering specialized educational services within an elementary or middle school caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school policies and legal regulations.
Participate actively in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification.
Experience working with K-12 students, preferably within elementary or middle school settings.
Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavioral interventions.
Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
Ability to manage a full-time caseload effectively while fostering student growth and independence.
