Your Role
As the Charge Nurse in the Cardiovascular Lab (CVL), you will:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Lead a team of nurses and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with catheterizations and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications and support the medical team as needed.

Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification required at time of hire
- Minimum one year of nursing experience required
- Specialty certifications in area of practice preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate Cath Lab nursing staff activities.
- Ensure adherence to established protocols and standards of care.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and provide timely updates to physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Facilitate effective communication among the healthcare team.
- Participate in staff training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
