• Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding debts.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements to resolve overdue accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
• Analyze client accounts to identify payment patterns and trends.
• Collaborate with team members to improve collection strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state debt collection laws.
• Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive situations.
• Report on collection activities and outcomes to management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in debt collection or a related field is not required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism.
• Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations not required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
