Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students from Pre-K through 5th grade at an elementary school setting located in Camp Lejeune, NC. This contract role begins as soon as possible and offers an opportunity to serve approximately 50 students on your caseload throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in students ranging from Pre-K to 5th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with relevant regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or fully licensed SLP status
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development within the early childhood and elementary school populations
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Comfortable providing direct therapy without support from SLP Assistants or vocational aides; CF candidates are encouraged to apply
