POSITION SUMMARY:
This individual is primarily responsible for the following duties: picking parts for work orders, packing and kitting orders for shipments, acting as a backup for receiving and unloading incoming material, and accurately maintaining an inventory of parts and materials. Performs physical inventory counts as scheduled. Performs daily maintenance and clean-up of warehouse areas. The scheduled shift is from 7:30am-4:00pm.
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
POSITON RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Picking and pulling parts for work orders/sales orders.
- Packing and kitting orders for shipments.
- Receiving goods; checking shipping documents for accuracy; putting inventory into stock.
- Unload trucks using hand trucks or forklift, adhere to safe OSHA standards; operate pallet jack and other warehouse forklift equipment.
- Hands-on stocking and performing inventory counts as needed.
- Performs sorting, packaging, labeling, unpacking, and/or logs or makes reports inventory which is shipped or received.
- Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement practices, safety policies, and promotes workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, maintains service of equipment including forklift, dolly, hand trucks, tools or other equipment required.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperworkand maintain department files of shipments in and out.
- Ensure parts cage and picking areas are labeled and pick locations are established with all items maximizing space.
- Maintains excellent attention to detail, meticulous record keeping and organizational skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with warehousing
- Experience in a small part distribution
- Experience with receiving
- Experience with cycle counts
- Independent self-starter with positive attitude
- Previous gaming experience
- Ability to count
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma plus 3 to 5 years shipping and receiving experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration.
- Must have a good driving record and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
