3PL & Fulfilment Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive 3PL & Fulfilment Manager on site at our St. Louis location to oversee the transition from our in-house packaging solution to a third-party logistics (3PL) partner. This role will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring seamless fulfilment across all sales channels, and driving continuous improvement in logistics processes and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all 3PL communication including setup requirements, inventory transfers, reporting, and training on the 3PL portal.
  • Manage and support the in-house warehouse and packaging team , overseeing workflow, productivity, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Own and manage the fulfilment process for Amazon, TikTok, and wholesale (in house).
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and the 3PL, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.
  • Oversee outbound inventory and replenishment in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain Manager.
  • Track and drive key operational KPIs (e.g., On-Time In-Full, outbound lead times), implementing continuous improvements to meet and exceed targets.
  • Coordinate and book outbound shipments and WROs, ensuring smooth communication between 3PL and internal functions.
  • Manage day-to-day operational issues (e.g., order discrepancies, carrier delays, capacity challenges), escalating to the business as needed and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Safeguard customer service levels for DTC consumers by ensuring fast delivery, accurate fulfilment, and high-quality packaging through the 3PL.
  • Support the rollout and integration of the new ERP system, including alignment with the 3PL’s WMS.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy across ERP and 3PL systems, including regular reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and implementation of best practices in inventory control.
  • Lead annual stock counts and manage day-to-day inventory issues in partnership with the 3PL.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics.
  • Define, implement, and maintain operational SOPs across warehousing and distribution.
  • Drive process improvements and implement new ways of working with both internal teams and the 3PL.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reporting to the business (e.g., shipped orders, stock transfers, month-end reconciliations).
