JOB SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, the Warehouse Specialist oversees daily warehouse operations and supports the Service Manager. This hybrid role involves coordinating incoming and outgoing materials, managing inventory accuracy, and assisting with administrative duties. Key responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and staging materials, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. The specialist will also operate various equipment, perform occasional job site deliveries, and collaborate with team members and supply chain partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist the Service Manager with managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including administrative tasks like answering phones, processing claims, invoicing service work, and collaborating with parts and supply chain teams.
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing materials for the division, offloading shipments, verifying counts against purchase orders, and inspecting all incoming materials for damage.
- Maintain desired stocking levels, correctly store, sort, and label all products, separating general stock materials from job-specific materials.
- Ensure all materials are correctly received and recorded within the ERP system, utilizing company-specific software, field devices, and associated paperwork to maintain precise inventory information.
- Accurately stage materials in preparation for installation, shipment to clients, or customer pick-up.
- Lead or perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain maximum inventory accuracy.
- Safely operate and utilize various hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment, including box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, lifts, drills, and saws.
- Occasionally perform job site deliveries and complete all delivery offloads, whether originating from the warehouse or a job site.
- Proactively maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all relevant safety protocols.

- Schedules delivery trucks, receives and tracks shipments using the appropriate tools, and communicates with other team members
- In addition, they are responsible for handling merchandise with care while entering data into software programs such as an inventory and record-keeping system

- Demonstrated practical interpersonal skills to interact with all employees within the organization
- Demonstrated planning and problem-solving/investigative skills as required to research inquiries related to job responsibilities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods working in the warehouse environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
PLANNED BUSINESS TRAVEL
- This job requires no planned business travel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Combined experience forklift, scissor lift, and warehouse practices of 1 or more years with education is desirable.
- Previous experience with Forklift and Scissor lift preferred.
COMPENSATION
This compensation information is a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage range that DuraServ reasonably expects to pay upon hire, and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Similar positions located outside of a covered jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The anticipated compensation range for this role is $18.70 to $23.00 and reflects the range DuraServ expects to pay at the time of hire, based on factors including geographic market, skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
