Job Position: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Location: Sacramento, CA
Shift Type: Days
Shift Notes: Monday to Friday (AM Start) , Tuesday to Saturday (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM)
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load (overtime eligible)
On-Call Requirements: Yes (discussed during the interview)
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $39.00
Relocation Assistance: Possible, discussed at the interview
State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray to join our mobile imaging team in Sacramento, CA. This role involves providing mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) services to various healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and other healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and capable of working independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transmit X-Ray images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Provide EKG services and transmit results to Cardiologists (if required).
- Efficiently and professionally communicate with dispatch, management, clients, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and manage portable X-Ray equipment and vehicle.
- Accurately complete and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - X-Ray.
- Valid State Radiologic Technologist License (eligible for state licensure reimbursement after 90 days).
- Experience in mobile radiology preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekends.
