About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a leading retail brand to support a Packaging Strategy & Creative Program Manager on a contract basis. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, creative development, and operational execution, with direct influence over how packaging brings brand and business strategies to life for the consumer.
The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, strategically minded, and comfortable managing complexity across multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and timelines. This role is instrumental in ensuring packaging initiatives are aligned, scalable, and consistently executed across the enterprise. Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for translating brand, business, and packaging strategies into clear and actionable creative briefs that drive industry leading consumer experiences. You will collaborate with a broad cross functional teamincluding Brand Management, Creative, Production Design, Merchandising, Project Management, Strategy & Operations, Marketing, and Insightsto ensure continuity from strategy through execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adopting brand, business, and packaging strategies into cohesive creative briefs that guide development and execution.
- Collaborating with cross functional partners to align priorities, accelerate decision making, and move projects forward.
- Leveraging consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities that elevate brand communication and the consumer experience.
- Developing packaging strategies that align to broader brand themes while ensuring consistency and scalability across channels.
- Partnering with local and global teams to manage project priorities, budgets, timelines, and risks.
- Owning day to day project management activities, including setting project context, facilitating working sessions, managing financials, and fostering strong project execution from start to finish.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 35 years of relevant experience in brand strategy, packaging, creative operations, or program/project management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously
- Ability to analyze complex information and clearly communicate to a broad audience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting packaging initiatives within a large retail, consumer goods, or omnichannel environment
- Exposure to cross functional creative or brand teams, including insights and merchandising partners
- Familiarity with managing budgets, timelines, and risks across multiple workstreams
- Experience working with global or distributed teams
