Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician (ORT)

- Ability to work effectively within a team of surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile fields
- Assist surgical teams before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient care and safety
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons by providing proper instruments and materials throughout operations
- Handle and manage surgical specimens according to facility protocols
- Monitor and maintain a sterile environment to minimize infection risk
- Collaborate with nursing staff on patient positioning and room preparations for various surgical cases
- Maintain accurate documentation for procedures and supply usage
