Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join an advanced imaging team specializing in magnetic resonance imaging techniques at a leading medical facility in Overland Park, KS. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled MRI technologist with hospital experience and a strong proficiency in scanning using the Phillips Achieva Siemens 1.5T Sola system. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting and prior experience working with implanted devices.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • ARRT (MR) certification and current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hospital MRI technologist experience; 2+ years preferred
  • Prior travel MRI experience of at least one year
  • Expertise with Phillips Achieva Siemens 1.5T Sola equipment is essential
  • Familiarity with Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS systems
  • Experience scanning patients with implanted devices
  • Flexibility to float between two hospital locations as needed
  • Nicotine-free professional environment

Schedule & Location:

  • 12-hour weekend night shifts: Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Located in Overland Park, a vibrant suburb of Kansas City with excellent amenities, cultural attractions, and family-friendly neighborhoods.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans following hospital protocols and safety standards
  • Manage complex imaging cases, including patients with implanted medical devices
  • Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging needs and deliver accurate results
  • Participate in hospital orientation and ongoing education programs
  • Float as required to support imaging departments at multiple hospital sites
