About MK Lighter
MK Lighter is a California-based company that designs and supplies modern, reliable lighter and butane products for retail, wholesale, and e-commerce markets. We work with retailers, distributors, smoke shops, gift shops, convenience stores, and other wholesale partners across the U.S.We are looking for a motivated B2B Wholesale Sales Account Manager to develop new wholesale customers, manage existing accounts, and support long-term customer growth.This is a sales growth role for someone who enjoys building relationships, presenting products, following up with opportunities, and helping customers choose the right products to sell, reorder, and grow with.
Position Overview
This role combines new business development and account management. The person in this role will identify wholesale opportunities, reach out to potential customers, present MK Lighter products, manage follow-up, and support customers after the first order to drive repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new B2B wholesale customers through outreach, referrals, follow-up, and trade show leads
- Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts
- Build strong relationships with retail and wholesale customers
- Present MK Lighter products and recommend suitable products based on customer needs, store type, price range, and selling potential
- Help customers with product selection, replenishment, promotions, and reorder planning
- Prepare quotes and support the sales process from lead to order
- Maintain accurate customer notes, follow-up records, and sales pipeline updates
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Work with warehouse, customer service, marketing, and management to support customer needs
- Represent the company professionally by phone, email, and in person when needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B sales, wholesale sales, account management, or business development experience
- Experience managing customer accounts and following up on sales opportunities
- Comfortable with outbound sales, prospecting, phone calls, emails, and lead follow-up
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend product solutions
- Organized and able to manage multiple accounts, follow-ups, and priorities
- Comfortable using CRM, spreadsheets, email, and basic sales tools
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese strongly preferred
- Experience in wholesale, distribution, consumer products, smoke shop, gift shop, retail supply, or import/export industries
- Experience with trade shows, retail accounts, distributors, or independent store customers
- Experience with product recommendations, merchandising, replenishment, or account growth
- Knowledge of lighter, butane, smoke shop, vape, gift, or convenience store products is a plus
