Job Title: Production Planner (Interim Contract January -Mid May)
Location: Seattle, WA (On-site) Duration: Temporary / Fixed-Term (Under 6 months)
Schedule: Monday Friday (5:00AM - 1:30PM)
Pay Range: $34.50 $42.00 per hour (Pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.)

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team on an interim basis. This mid-level role is critical for maintaining our scheduling operations and ensuring inventory balance during a coverage period. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Sales) to translate sales forecasts into actionable production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Production: Manage daily/weekly schedules for product lines to optimize plant efficiency and meet customer service levels.
- Inventory Management: Monitor long/short inventory positions and coordinate with teams to mitigate risks.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the liaison between Demand Planning, Procurement, and the Plant to ensure material availability.
- Analysis: Analyze root causes of shortages and assist in forecasting production requirements.
- System Maintenance: Utilize SAP and Excel to maintain accurate production data.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Production Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Forecasting (Food Manufacturing experience preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; knowledge of SAP is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to work autonomously, and ability to communicate effectively across departments.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
