CUT-LISTER / Autocad Drafting/ Production Support (KCD)

1. Full time (Monday-Friday)
2. About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and personable Cut-lister (Cut-lister is primarily CAD design final check/adjust before production) to support our design and production team. This role is critical to keeping projects accurate, smooth, and on-time. You'll manage multiple jobs at once, communicate with designers and production, and ensure materials and cut lists are correct before work begins.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create and manage accurate cut lists for multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Use KC D (or equivalent design/production software) to review plans, components, and specs.
3. Collaborate with multiple designers to clarify details and resolve discrepancies.
4. Verify measurements, materials, finishes, hardware, and special notes before processing.
5. Maintain clean, organized job documentation and production notes.
6. Communicate clearly and professionally with designers, production/shop, and office staff.
7. Catch errors before they become expensive problems (This is a big one.)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Must-Haves)

1. Extremely detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
2. Comfortable with juggling multiple designs/projects at the same time.
3. Strong communications skills - confident, friendly, and professional.
4. KC D experience (preferred) or similar cabinet/closet design software experience.
5. Solid computer skills and comfortable learning systems/processes.
6. Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently.

BONUS POINTS

Experience in closet/cabinetry/manufacturing workflow.

1. Familiarity with shop processes, ordering materials and hardware.
2. Strong problem-solving and "I'll figure it out" energy.
